Behavioral Health Grand Rounds Series, discussing pressing behavioral health topics relevant to healthcare audiences. Designed to foster knowledge exchange, collaboration, and innovation, this series brings together experts, clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals to explore key issues shaping the landscape of behavioral healthcare

1. **Understanding Behavioral Health Disorders**: Participants will gain knowledge of the various types of behavioral health disorders, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders.
2. **Assessment and Diagnosis**: Participants will learn about effective methods for assessing and diagnosing behavioral health disorders, including evidence-based assessment tools and diagnostic criteria from the DSM-5.
3. **Evidence-Based Treatments**: Participants will explore evidence-based treatments for behavioral health disorders, including pharmacological interventions, psychotherapy techniques, and emerging therapies.
4. **Cultural Competency**: Participants will develop cultural competency in addressing behavioral health issues, including understanding how cultural factors impact diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
5. **Trauma-Informed Care**: Participants will understand the principles of trauma-informed care and how to apply them in clinical practice when working with individuals who have experienced trauma.
6. **Interdisciplinary Collaboration**: Participants will learn about the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in the treatment of behavioral health disorders, including strategies for effective communication and teamwork among healthcare professionals.
7. **Prevention and Early Intervention**: Participants will explore strategies for preventing behavioral health disorders and intervening early to mitigate the impact of these disorders on individuals and communities.
8. **Ethical and Legal Considerations**: Participants will examine ethical and legal considerations in the provision of behavioral health care, including issues related to confidentiality, informed consent, and involuntary treatment.
