Interventional Cardiology Case Review M&M 2025

Occurs monthly on the 4th Thursday starting on 1/1/2025 at 7:00 AM

Provide a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients requiring interventional cardiac procedures. Apply evidence based medicine to ensure the most appropriate clinical pathways for enhanced patient outcomes and continuous quality improvement. Advance the evaluation, treatment, and management of patients through discussion of novel approaches and advanced therapies. Identify best practices by identifying errors and hazards in care while providing interventions and processes that will improve patient outcomes and the quality of patient care.

1. Physicians should be encouraged to report and discuss errors, evaluate systems related problems
2. Review guidelines to enhance provider education
3. Discuss shared decision making between patient and physicians in high-risk cases
4. allow for a focused discussion with high educational content that will engage care teams
